Crisis Suits is a conceptual costume and fabrication project exploring how people seek comfort during moments of physical or emotional crisis. Developed in response to lingering post-pandemic anxiety, the series treats costume as both armor and narrative device and uses material, silhouette, and construction to communicate protection, vulnerability, and character.

Each suit was designed and fabricated as a wearable object that balances structure with softness, combining monochrome forms with down-filled materials to evoke both play and protection. A procedural manual was created for each suit, outlining how the garment is worn and activated as part of the character’s behavior and world.
